Zoom will be implementing a new required security setting on January 12th. This setting requires that meetings have either a passcode, waiting room, or participation limited to authenticated users (no guests). If a meeting does not have a passcode or is not restricted to authenticated users, the waiting room will be activated in the meeting without an option to disable it.
