On the evening of Monday, October 8th, the OIT Network Engineering team will move the Telcom and Fitz East data center networks to the new core. The networking team will perform the cutover of the Telcom data center at 10 pm, and after a successful cutover, will proceed with the Fitz East data center at 11 pm. It will take approximately five minutes to move the redundant data center links, and brief potential delays (up to 30 seconds) in connecting to data center services may be experienced during this time. Data center support teams will be monitoring systems during these transitions and will be on hand to test and mitigate any impacts.
