Grouper (groups.oit.duke.edu) has an upgrade scheduled for 9/30. Grouper and Group Manager will be unavailable during the maintenance window. Any application using Grouper or Group Manager directly (such as Toolkits) will be degraded or unavailable during the outage. Applications accessing Grouper data via downstream systems (Shibboleth, LDAP, AD) will not be impacted.
While this is a major upgrade, all functionality will remain the same and it will primarily improve Grouper's user interface. Once the upgrade is completed, users may opt to revert to the old interface using a link on the site if they are more comfortable using it.
